The relaunch of the Chevrolet Colorado brought about many changes to mid-size truck platform. Performance, economy, options, and styling were on the “Make Better” list for the people at General Motors. The mid-size truck market as been swamped by the likes of the Toyota Tacoma and Tacoma Pre-Runner for quite some time now. Well, it looks like Chevrolet has stepped up its again. The launch for the 2014 Colorado saw major improvements across the board. More noticeably the exterior styling. It is no longer a box with wheels and was drab and boring. It became sleek and carried itself as gracefully as most of the full and mid-sized trucks currently on the market. All of the changes helped Chevrolet beat out Ford for the first half of the year in truck sales and to win the Colorado the coveted Motor Trend Truck of the Year award for 2014.
For 2015 the people at Chevrolet have added two more versions of the Colorado to the lineup. The Midnight Edition and the Z-71 Trail Boss.
